I believe the relationship between provider and patient is the key to healing and am inspired to continue to explore ways to enhance your well-being through mind, body, and spirit connections. We look forward to welcoming you to our community.
With our fun community activities, our members connect and enjoy health and healing together. We gather weekly for yoga and fitness classes. Monthly we host culinary club gatherings. And quarterly offer book club, workshops, and special events!
I was born and raised here in Sugarcreek Township and attended Bellbrook-Sugarcreek schools. I am using the beauty of this local environment to help patients improve health and maintain wellness applying our three vital concepts for healing.
I graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005 and then completed a Family medicine residency at Grandview Hospital- Dayton in 2008.
I am board certified in Family and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine as well have a Certificate to Recommend Medical Cannabis.
I spent my first 11 years after residency practicing beside and learning from my father and several other great physicians at Bellbrook Family Practice. That great experience has given me the education and tools I need to blaze this new career path. I took on my first patient at Sugarcreek Direct Family Care in March 2020, and opened the Farm officially in September of the same year. As we continue to grow and expand our vision--we look forward to adding more exciting opportunities for your healing!
I live in Sugarcreek township with my three beautiful daughters just walking distance of the Farm. We enjoy many outdoor activities as a family, including hiking, camping, gardening, entertaining our pseudo-therapy dog Lucky, and traveling when we find time.
What we consume is the most important aspect of our health. We meet monthly for our Community Culinary Club to discuss whole food, plant-based eating and engage through our Facebook support group.
With individual and motivational interviewing, we personalize your exercise needs--
providing yoga, self-defense and weekly FUNctional Fitness classes.
Rotating opportunities for meditation, nature journaling and other mindfulness workshops.
Osteopathic manipulation techniques including HVLA, muscle energy, fascial release and cranial-sacral.
Quarterly book clubs to further our community's understanding of health and healing. Previous books have included "How Healing Works," "How Not to Die," "Forks Over Knives," and "Atomic Habits."
Future options determined by YOUR needs including art, music and animal therapy.
